    SUMMARY

This feature adds the possibility for creators and scenario builders to manipulate the color of asteroid fog and the newly added fog-only element directly via EClassConfig settings.

    ADDITIONS

Several new entities (EClassConfig.ecf) have been added for scenario builders and creators. Please see the CREATORS tab below.

    CREATORS
    Includes new assets to use:
    • AsteroidFieldNoFog
    • AsteroidFieldRectangle2NoFog
    • FogEllipsoidBlue
    • FogEllipsoidRed

All solo fogs (new) and all asteroid fields with fog (old) can be colored.

Of course only the fog will be colored, not the asteroids.

    Example:

    Name: [FogEllipsoidBlue]
    FieldNameFogColor: [0.6, 0.25, 0.25, 0.07] # Override to RED ( 7% alpha)
    CountMinMax: [ 1, 1 ]
    Probability: 1
    Pos: [0, -5000, 0]
    # BaseField: true
    # RandomRotation: false

I like it! Will be really nice to add some variety to asteroid fields and other types of space playfields.

Who does not like extra variation and enrichment of visual elements in games. For Empyrion it helps the mind of the player to distinguish their whereabouts. Space is a monotonous open place visually. I welcome this feature.
