Hello, something crossed my mind while experimenting with 3d printer. Is it possible to make 3d models (stl or obj data) from blueprints? Would be cool to have everything I did in Empyrion printed and then painted to match ingame vessel....

I'm not sure that anyone has written a blueprint-to-stl converter yet. Both myself and @Apan Loon have blueprint readers in various stages of completion, but more work would need to be done to translate the resulting grid of blocks into 3D data.

In addition, using the actual block assets from the game might be murky water, from a copyright point of view. (Assuming that these can even be extracted in a reasonable way)

SE does a semi good job of allowing conversion of BPs into 3d models to print.
Something like that for this game would be awesome.
