7.0 Playfield issues with FixedResources

    Hi,

    I made a copy of the stock playfield NewDesert2. Now I'm adjusting this copy so I can use fixed POI's and as a result of that I also have to use fixed resources. Which is disappointing, would have loved to use fixed POI's and random resources side by side. In the playfield.yaml I have set UseFixed: True and UseRandom:False. I also added two fixed resources. When I start a new game the resources do appear on the map in the correct location and size. But when I try to mine them there are no blue ore nodes. Even though I have the ore scanner.

    Has anyone experienced this same issue or am I missing something in the properties of the FixedResources?

    Fixed Resources seem to be broken. I just tested and there aren't even any resource pebbles in fixed resources anymore. Just the map marker. I'll file a bug report.

    But a another thing. Why not use random resources and fixed POIs? This DOES work. Just tested successfully.

    Just set both UseFixed AND UseRandom to true. Then you can use fixed POIs in combination with random Resources.

    Hi jmc,

    I am only interested in the fixed POI's so I followed your advice and changed the settings and it works like a charm. Good to know that you can use fixed and random side by side at least for fixed POI's. Thanks a lot!
