This isnt a new concept but it takes advantage of the fake water. Some can use this as an advantage since turrets dont target you underwater. People do this alot on servers, I have a planet thats 110m deep waters and people just go below.

No problem, im getting into Naval building now for the planet on my server. The water is dark enough that the light doesnt "fog up" so its alot easier to see, interested to test vessels actually made for it.

Ho and by the way the drones can shoot you underwater... that one didn't shoot because it didn't had a line of fire the same happens above water if you are in a hole.
On the other hand turrets can't shoot you underwater and you can use that to take over POI's...

So, far (knock on wood) I have not been shot underwater and have had the drones looking right at me. That is so weird.
And I just figured that the turrets don't shoot because your below the arc of fire of the turrets, where as when your on land your on the same plane as them. Thanks for the info, I will do some more testing.
