Hey Andre I really enjoyed playing on your server! Players were generally friendly & helpful! However I feel I was unfairly banned for PvPing in the PvP zones. You may want to change the description or the rules of this server to reflect the noncompetitive & care bearing nature of said server. I'm not sure which rules I broke, but for future players you may want to clarify your standards of play & what will result in a ban. I don't appreciate being called a "pussy" or a "dumbass", this is unprofessional & reflects poorly on Eleon for giving you a verified server status. I hope they review their decision "for bad behavior of either the owners or their admins towards their players... this will lead to a removal of the Verified Server label." If you would like to discuss the nature of the ban I've sent you a friend request on steam.
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Man up and move along and hopefully learn from your mistake.
which was the mistake? playing in a verified server? my point, was that I was banned with no clue as to what I did wrong. No problem moving on to another server. Just hoping I don't join another verified one & have the same problem. BTW do you frequent the server? I don't recognize your name.

So no response from Andre, the admin & owner. Turns out he banned the entire faction, some of whom were entirely new to the game & had just made their very first CV. I'm noticing a trend here. This must be the kind of administration he provides for his server. Rules made on a whim, & a heavy ban hammer with no reasoning. Be weary playing here, especially as a new player. Because if you somehow upset the admin, not only will he harass you, but will eventually & suddenly ban you with no reason, except that he's having a bad day, & it's "his opinion his server." Or maybe he'll just spawn AI or tell other players where you are so they can attempt to seek & destroy. I joined your server because it was verified server by Eleon. I really hope the verified server status is revoked. This is no way for players looking to try out & play Empyrion. This leads to a poor experience with the game, especially for new players looking to get started.
InDiGo - I don't have to go into an explanation as to the Why. Just understand that you are the ONLY group we have banned in the many months we've been hosting this server. The rest of the players requested that I remove the RED Team... so I did. Thus ensuring that the rest of the servers players could continue to enjoy the game. I'm sorry you are upset with the decision, but - it is final.
and as a fellow server owner and admin... you actually DO.... because as inDIgo pointed out.. abusive behaviour such as Banning without any justification except the statement this is my server and i will do as i please CAN get your verified status revoked... and only reason my server does not have verified is i do not have a Player base YET... but i digress... i will give you 3 reasons to Notify or give Clarification to a Ban.... 1. failure to state a reason or explain why a Player was banned when asked CAN drop Morale in the rest of your playerbase based on your actions 2. Abuse of the Admin powers, i.e. Banning without A LEGITIMATE REASON ( Meaning the excuse " this is my server and i do what i want / i do not have to explain anything " will not work) Can get 2 things to happen, first you CAN lose your Player Base, Second you can lose the Verified Status 3. it is just plain CHILDISH AND UNSPORTSMANLIKE to not have Valid Reasons for a Ban other than it is my server and i do what i want, or the OTHER Team wanted Red team gone... sounds like they were LOSIING a fair PvP fight and took the LOW Road to winning... Getting the Other team BANNED... this is ALL my opinion and I mean NO DISRESPECT OF ANY KIND towards this Admin / Owner or his team... I am OFFERING Friendly advice as a FELLOW OWNER / ADMIN, and Reminding him of his Duties of having that title only... Actually i hope me and him can become friends... we all could use more friends lol
I'm upset with the way you behaved. It was abrasive, it was disrespectful, and as Ninjahunter said, childish. I'm upset with the way you treated your players. It was unfair, it was biased, and as Ninjahunter said, unsportsmanlike. I'm upset with Eleon, for verifying this server. The owner is abusive, harassive, and overall has bad behavior. I'm not upset with your decision. Playing on your carebear server could be described as tolerable at best after the battle. After telling us to "watch our backs" & "don't be surprised" if they retaliate, it was quite clear your intentions were to sabotage us. Andre I hope you learn that your players need clear rules, not just ones you make up as you go. Favoring one faction over another because of the enviornment you fostered isn't appropriate in fairness sake. Claiming that it's your server & you'll do as you please is clear path to abuse. Abuse is not tolerated with verified servers. I've got screenshots of the name calling, & you've already admitted that you refuse to explain the ban & the favoritism towards other players. One faction member whom you banned was completely new to the game. We walked him through the basics & helped him build his very first ship. He spent the entire night gathering resources to build it & the following day received a ban, with no explanation as well. He refuses to play the game, upset that the hours he spent building farming & building went to waste. I imagine he'll play again someday, but for now he's over it. I sincerely hope your verified status is revoked.
I couldn't agree more with ninja. It's interesting to see how a 3rd party sees things. Not that we care at all to return to the server, it was our first multiplayer server we joined and everyone makes mistakes. We did have a few ships to throw into battle and "Hostile Takeover" seemed to have big boy pants but i guess we were wrong. Another disappointment is not seeing my pvp outpost work, as i was building it when you banned us. I knew this would happen the moment you started whining in server chat to us about pvping. I'd like to spare anyone else from having to deal with your pettiness in the future so i'm leaving this post since you can't list what's going on in your own server. This server isn't PVP friendly. The ships we took had 3 players online to our 2, seems fair to me. There's no gun limit but andre made up a gun limit.. howerver, new players won't know what number he pulled out of his hat so there's no gun limit. andre likes to waste your time and rope you into conversations through server chat to criticize how you play the game. He'll also attack your personal character because he's losing a debate that he started in the first place. Once he realizes his troll tactics aren't getting to you, banned. I guess you couldn't just say how it really was and go: "They took the ships that were gonna do my pvp event and they were probably the only ones that were going to come raid the base i made in creative so i can pretend that i actually have something to do with friends but they're just players in the server but i can be proud of something i made now i don't have anything to do this weekend and RED TEAM RUINED IT ALL why should they pvp in a pvp zone when i have AN EVENT COMING 4 days from now and this is MY server so everyone has to PLAY HOW I WANT even though they aren't breaking the RULES it doesn't MATTER TO ME" 0/10 server and owner. Save yourself the start up time and play elsewhere.
