"alternate" fire mode for turret groups

    Example:

    You have 10 plasma turrets. Normally they shoot whenever they get a target locked.

    Alternate mode: They fire in alternating shots as in turret 1 fires, turret 2 fires, turret 3 fires and so on.

    The number of turrets in the group determines the spacing between shots so that they shoot at an evenly spaced rate. a group of 3 plasma turrets will shoot so that theres an even space between them as well as a group of 10 plasma turrets. The 3 plasmas will be slower, the 10 will be faster.

    This will make them more effective, as there is less wasted damage output as blocks get destroyed. There will be less overkill of blocks.

    I was hoping you were going to suggest being able to align all or selected groups of turrets and manually fire something like a broadside. :(
