Can not reset Keybindings to default - please help

I inadvertently set the primary mouse button to open the console command window.
Now, no matter what I do - when i click the primary mouse button the console command window opens.

I am unable to click on the 'reset keybindings to default' button because when I click it, you guessed it, the console command window opens up.

Now, my game is broken and unplayable as obviously, this makes anything I want to do impossible.

Does ANYONE know how I can resolve this issue effectively?
I can find nothing about this anywhere.

Love the game, would love to keep playing it.
Please help.

 

Try deleting or renaming this file:

inputconfig_v35.xml​

Found in this directory:
​

\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves

​

The game should just regenerate that file, but if not, verify integrity of game files with Steam for it to give the option to redownload the missing file.​

 

@Thick_Flavor have you tried to start the game and before entering chose Options/Controls and hit "Reset to defaults" for Mouse AND Keyboard?

 

I just deleted and reinstalled the game - this worked to resolve my stupidity.
Lesson learned...
