So, if I'm in a Polaris base and my reputation is Friendly, can you use the Deconstructor or Constructor? How? If you open a cargo box you kill your rep, so how do you select an input / output container?? For fun I tried using the Repair Station as the I/O since you can safely use it ... LOL No dice (duh, you can't put building blocks in a Repair station, only Armor and Weapons/Tools) Trying any other cargo containers wouldn't let me put anything into it, so I assume (AHEM) that the answer is you can't, even though you can ACCESS them. Correct? TY
I think it's POI specific, but I've seen POIs that had one public container tied to a public constructor, so it is possible, you just have to find the right one. Not sure any of those POIs are in a vanilla game, though. I usually play Reforged Eden scenarios.
Not sure if applicable to your game, but. Project Eden build.... Has certain locations of PoL , Traders that have equipment you can use. Just keep trying to access the object when you find one you can it will give you the name of the attached containers. Then you can find those, probably real close and if it lets you access them then you can do all your crafting right there.
Hmm interesting. I checked all the cargo boxes using the dropdown list for this one but none accepted any input. It's a shame, my Dual deconstructors are over 40LY away, would love to not have to fly back to use them ... LOL I want try Reforged one day, want to get skilled in Solo first. Getting closer ... I'm running Vanilla Solo, but I'll keep that in mind for when I finally jump over there, Thanks 'guys' !
