As of today, 11-19-22, I can no longer load any saved games, even after starting a new vanilla game. Survival, creative, Reforged Eden, nothing works. The game seems to load normally then freezes without a COQ prompt, CTD, nothing. Just stops. Steam downloaded a quick update this morning but I have no idea what was in it. The log shows a lot of texture and shader failures. What happened and how can I recover my saves? -SOLVED- Looks like it may have been a hardware problem, not software. My graphics card apparently had a bad connection but somehow worked well enough to display Windows, Steam, etc. I guess the added graphics load was too much? Not entirely sure, but the log stopped showing errors after removing and reconnecting the graphics card.
