I'm building a sprawling base that benefits from the addition of many light sources, the problem is I have to set all lights to an absurdly low light level or it's WAAAY to bright during daytime on a planet surface. At night I have to opposite problem of being able to barely see at night. If lights are good enough to see at night, then it's a mess of blooM during the day. For my current build I already decided to place manual light switches in all the relevant areas, but in the future it would be amazing if the game added a signal item that emitted a signal based on either light level or time of day on the planet's surface, that would solve my problem. Motion sensor lights don't do squat because motion sensors still work in daytime.

This is a good idea and would be really nice if it could be added.

Yeah, and something nicer than the solar panels 4 genro lights would be welcome too. Nice suggestion.
