did the range for detectors change in 1.5 drastically....as in 50 meters for the hand held and 300 meters for the HV detector....or is this a bug that has been seen yet?
Do you talk about the range in which the Detector 'finds' after a Ping an Object(?) or the actual Recon of the Object? Handheld Detector works up to 250m active Recon results at about 130m HV Detector up to 2500m active recon about 250m
ah ok well this has changed from my perspective, again probably because it's different in RE and thank you for the active range numbers, but HV is actually 300m which is what I was use to for the hand held...again thank you for taking the time to clarify my Ignorance of the vanilla game...lol...started this game with a mod and am only now learning it in real life.
You mention - now - that you play RE.... It is a 'Modded' Vanilla, in which nothing real new but mainly Tweaks are done. With Tweaks I mean numbers that determine the function, such as speed, Firepower, Thruster and, maybe also reach of Detectors. About Detectors...the Handheld Detectors Ping reaches 650m, my bad.
