I died to a spider in the tutorial. Why you might ask did someone with my hours of experience die to a spider. Because in the middle of killing the spider the IDA decided that was the time to pop up a screen and take away my control of my character. That is just not good design.
IDA window pops on then collision goes off, or movement allowed while info window on screen*. *my favorite choice.
game should be paused when reading IDA & mission dialogue imho, similar issue with a hard start on an airless world, if the game paused then you could read all the chatty IDA text but since it doesnt its not wise to dawdle
