After update 1.10.4232 all sounds of doors, gates and ramps were very low. Barely audible. And with a lot of discrepancy in relation to the other sounds from other devices, such as showers and toilets. I understand it was a long-requested change, but I think Eleon overdid it.
Well yes and no. The long requested change was that they give us proper sliders to adjust the volumes ourselves. Like any typical game has. Instead we are still stuck dealing with whatever volume they decide we should have. We need individual sliders. Until then it is going to keep being an issue with many things, IMO. I can confirm that sound levels are all over the place now.
