I was running the Ilmarinen PIO yesterday as part of my test playthrough before 1.5 and came across a potential issue. The Mech Walker in the rear hangar can be activated without it being hostile, which is a great feature. (pull the emergency switch and its hostile, do it another way and its not) Any way I did the non-hostile way and came across an issue or two.. 1. Its non-hostile to EVERYTHING - i.e it all the RP stuff about it being a security device, it just lets the legacy walk around it 2. you have to go into the rear hangar to activate it in the box. At this point the main wave of enemies have already attacked you and died, and those pesky sentries have shot your legs (no crouch so that part hurt alot) There needs to be a way of activating it before going into that hangar so it can do its job and deal with those nasties. It also needs to... deal with those nasties! I thought enemies attack each other now? p.s Noticed Vermillion's signature in there while stripping it down for parts, very cool pps - the Ilmarinen looks ALOT cooler since its rebuild!
This POI will most likely be subject to changes in the play mechanics for future versions, a lot of players don't get how to finish it. For myself I didn't succeed to turn the mech to friendly, I just blew it up and went on. The real difficulty comes later when you must find the right doors and corridors to conclude the POI, it's not always that obvious. Also note that if you want to see update changes in a POI applied, then you must restart a new game in most cases, old savegames will not be updated and the scenario will bug out on them. In my case it was not enough to reset the playfield and the mission, I had to restart with the same seed nr.
