I've seen people express various ideas about this on the forums but nobody tested it to see what actually happens. Until now. :)

Thanks for pointing this out. I hope mining gets more advanced than this, a mining rig would be fun. Mythbusters would be proud of you.

Is there a text conclusion for those who can't/don't feel like watching a video?

here. Slow and fast give you the same amount of ore. Fast uses more fuel, slow uses less. He says that because slow is so well, slow, the only reason to use slow mining is if you have next to no fuel.

I like the two finger method better. Gives my second finger something to do and I like the sound better ha ha.

Yes, the data and conclusions are in the description, because I hate having to watch a ten minute video titled "how to ___ in 5 seconds" to get information I could have read in 4 seconds. (And you can't skim a video to find what you were looking for.)

    Many thanks for this! :D

Was both Mouse Buttons used among the test criteria, or was it only LMB speed vs RMB Speed? Couldn't tell easily from the Vid cause the 6 Windows had no Labels IDing which Window showed what Method. ;)

Yeah, it was LMB vs Both. At the time I don't think I was even aware of the RMB working by itself.

BTW at 1:32 it's pretty obvious which ones used which method. :p

LMB for fast Mining, RMB for slow Mining. I think slow Mining is only really for fine tuning digging for Underground or In-Mountain Base work though.

Also i'm a retard irl, trying to mind 6 Windows & listen to your Commentary at the same time with no Labeling mighta been too much for me & I mighta choked at processing the info. :(
