I cannot properly start a Multiplayer game. I get the following error message: EAC detected an integrity problem: Unknown file version (Content\Playfields\TemperateStarter\playfield_static.yaml) Multiplayer is possible only with unprotected servers! [OK] Here is what I did: Go to the Steam Tools menu and download the Dedicated Server. Open the folder: Empyrion - Dedicated Server Open the file: dedicated.yaml Set the ServerConfig section as follows: ServerConfig: Srv_Port: 30000 Srv_Name: MyDedicatedServer Srv_Password: MyPassword Srv_MaxPlayers: 4 Set the following parameter: Srv_Public: false Save and close the file. Double-click on the following file: EmpyrionDedicated.cmd Wait for the server to start. Go to Steam and click on "Play" for Empyrion. After Empyrion starts, click on Multiplayer. In the field "Direct IP and Port" type the following: 192.168.0.226 Click on Connect. Enter the Password. Click on OK. Then I get the error message shown above. I cannot start the game under Multiplayer for release 8. I had successfully set up the Dedicated Server for 7.6 following the same actions described above, and it worked just fine. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Dedicated Server files several times. I've also tried making NO CHANGES AT ALL. I still get the same error message. Anyone can provide some insight? Thanks.
