How about different life on different on differernt planet types?

    For example:
    Snow Ice planets would have cold weather animals like dire wolves, bears, buffalo, elk, mammoths and etc... And desert planets lizards, snakes, spiders and etc... It does not mean each planet needs its own biodiversity but each planet type should have its own biodiversity. Same for plant life on said planets. Heck maybe even Talan or other native types dressed in fur coats.

    I just find it odd and out of place to see non blubber hairless creatures roaming the Ice planets for example.

    Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    It's a good point. I believe there is a certain amount of climate derivation to flora and fauna now, or at least there was. But think of all the steaks and milk to be had from taking down a mammoth! And Talon in fur coats with dogsleds, awesome! I have often heard wolf-like critters howling, but never seen.
