Hello all, Have been playing multiplayer for a little while now, and have settled into a friendly UK server. These guys have been very helpful to a noob like me so I decided to try and give something back. I have noticed that a lot of servers seem to have custom maps for the galaxies they create, something my server currently lacks... I have gathered all the information I need (Planetary info, playfield map etc), all I need do is put it all together. Has anyone on this forum done such a thing? Though I'm capable it has been some time since I've done anything like this and am wondering what kind of image software should I be using? Is there anything out there that's free? I'm hoping to make it a .PDF file, with one or two pages being a map with a legend included and another page or two giving a brief description of the planets, for example size class, climate, resources etc. Any help is greatly appreciated!
