So, I had no idea that Empyrion was a thing until, well three weeks or so ago. I stumbled upon it via "Scott Maley" whom, I watch on occasion for KSP goodies.

A little about myself, I was an Airborne Combat Engineer in the US Army (Active Duty) from 2002 to 2012. I'm now "out" due to injuries sustained in combat and a nasty parachuting accident. I now have an office job and enjoy the family life with two young kiddos, who, themselves are turning into avid gamers!

As an avid gamer I spend a lot of time in Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMORPG). I do stream on occasion but not for the audience, mainly for PvP and PvE reviews. I dabble with Kerbal Space Program, Minecraft and Battlefield 4 here and there as well. I played Star Wars Galaxies for years and so I have an affinity for sandbox style games with detailed crafting and memorable exploration. I purchased Empyrion as soon as it was available and I look forward to being a part of the community and providing, hopefully, good feedback and suggestions. I'm also interested in multiplayer with this game but I am still learning survival mode and working in creative to make "proof of concept" type vehicles/structures before I expend the resources in survival mode. Happy... surviving? :p

Great to have you on board Turbo ... have enjoyed your posts so far.

Love the idea of testing stuff out in creative first to save resources ... Might give that a go myself .. thanks for the tip :)

I appreciate it! Maybe we can do some multiplayer one weekend or so and goof around in survival. Up to you but I'm just about ready (comfortable with survival mode) to attempt some multiplayer.

One of us will have to host a server. I have a fairly beefy gaming rig so I should be able to host a small server. Essentially, I'll give you my IP address and port number and you'll type it in and join up. Might be best if we use teamspeak to communicate during that process. I use TS all the time for other games so I can get a channel setup easily. Let me know if you want to try it say, this Sunday?
