I'm just wondering I'f it would be possible to turn a great scenario namely the battle royal in to an instance on my Dedicated server player's would be able to go into it as a group/faction groups, lets say group /faction 1 vs group/faction 2 vs group faction 3 all the players enter and start at the same location get there gear then jump out and began the event. when 1 group wins the fight by doing the mission the game ends and it removes all players/with their acquired items. Help I need is the ability to import the mission of the scenario into the dedicated servers pda to make it activate when a player enters the instance portal. The only thing I have yet to figure out In this game is how to edit the pda. I use the ePDA - Empyrion PDA helper https://empyriononline.com/threads/tool-epda-empyrion-pda-helper-v1-07.12563/ but it will not over write the pda after I've spend many hours doing and redoing the mission I want to put in it just reverts back to the stock pda file the location were I place the ePDA is correct I watched the video I've read the read me file the tool works like it should. I just need a bit of help with this I'd be willing to share all files with any other dedicated server managers that would like this as an instance on there servers . Lets work as a team and bring something new to life for all to enjoy.
This can already be done by anyone. Too easy. Just modify the poi that port's you out to a planet in your galaxy, and add the playfield name / template name / coords in the sectors file.
If you open up the PDA.csv & PDA.yaml for your scenario, and then the same 2 files for the Royale scenario, you should just be able to copy / paste into your scenarios PDA. This is quite easy as how that's how I started out my servers scenario, I took all of the stock scenarios and painstakingly modified each playfield / poi / sectors to work into my servers planet names / galaxy setup.
So how many people on the server ? Your intention is to get say 20 players all in the same instance for example ? Like sixgun says it can be done now with a little messing around, I would be more concerned with performance with all these players in eachothers render range could get awful choppy especially if a high pinger joins. Would be interesting to see if it works though so do report what you get working champ !
