The idea was suggested by the video card developers themselves!
The essence of the method is to use the NEURAL NETWORK to process the graphics stream !!!
To do this, I offer this option:
The game will give a constant picture resolution = VERY SMALL, for example 640x480 p, and this picture - the neural network will increase to the specified screen resolution (900p, 1080p, 2k ...)
The technology itself already exists! Neural networks take the original image of a small size, and pass it through several layers with filters, and the result is a picture of very high resolution and quality :)

So, why not try to connect a neural network in Imperion to increase the output image to high quality, and apply all the visual effects from the Graphics quality settings level ?! :)

Thus, the load on the graphics video card will be reduced, since you need to process the picture NOT in 1600x900, but only in 640x480, and then with the help of the Neural Network (processing on the CPU) get improved image quality! :)
Theoretically - the increase in FPS should be!

For the test - I specifically measured the FPS on my standard quality at 1600x900 = 15 FPS

and set the picture quality to 1280x720, and already got 23 FPS (!!!) :)
    ... and this = FPS increase by 53% (!)

Conclusion - The method is POSSIBLE !!!!!
    Need to try :)

In Linux I can use FSR on my GTX1070 playing in 720p and having 1080p quality and detail with more FPS.
