Iceteroids are a pain and I'm trying to find ice on a snow planet to no avail. Anyone know the specific biomes or areas I should be looking? New to the forums btw be gentle
I frequently find it when drilling terrain in the mountain biomes, but I don't think that's the only place. The texture most of the time looks just like snow so you can't tell most times by look alone. Just go to various areas and drill a little terrain. I think most times it is only in the top meter or two of terrain, so you should know immediately.
Ice Shelfs and Lower Hill Regions have Ice - not on the surface but a few meters down. Lower and High Montains mostly only on the highest peaks.
