Is there someway to remove POI tags from the map?

    Is there anyway to get rid of the POI (or resource icon) from the map?
    I have encountered a few resource nodes that's bugged and won't remove itself when mined clear and I would really like to be able to remove POI tags when I have dismantled them (POI regeneration is off on my server)

    If you remove every block of a POI, I believe the marker will go away after a server restart.

    I'll have to investigate that a bit!
    I have a Tech Ruins on Akua that's been cleared for quite a while with several server restarts but still has the marker visible.
    (might have to dig out the entire place and look for hidden blocks -.-) Wish we could restore the terrain back to 'default'

    In solo mode I slip into God mode and have a look underground for any leftover blocks, note where they are and return to survival and dig them out without making too much mess, so if it's your server you probably have a function to do this

    As for the mess, I'd like a smoothing tool and a filling that's the same as the terrain, to be honest I don't know why we're expected to leave messy terrain and not be concerned about it... many folks like build their dream pads in the game and landscaping should be part and parcel.

    It is my server so I could do that indeed, just that I purposly havent learned how to avoid being tempted to 'admin in things' :p
    And it's waaay to much hassle, wish we'd just have an option on the map to delete the mark. can't be that hard.
    And God yes. why won't the filler fill with the terrain that's there -.-

    You can also use the following console commands as admin:
    ents (to see the IDs of all nearby structures and entities)
    destroy XXXX (destroy entity with ID XXXX. USE WITH CAUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    That should remove it if it still exists.
