I had an issue this morning where the game came up in offline mode (a dialog box displayed a message to the effect that the game was starting in offline mode and multiplayer would not be available) ... this was fine as I was playing a workshop scenario game solo.

When I went in to resume game it displayed a message that highlighted the two saves I had that were scenario based and displayed the message "These games are no longer usable. Please deleted them."

Two months in on the save I was not happy with that prospect, so I got out and got back in- this time it all started without issues and the saves loaded fine.

I am suggesting that the "Please delete them" is unnecessary and potentially dangerous, simply flag the games in some way.

You should not encourage users to delete save game data for a potentially transitory issue as it in no way impacts your new releases; let them come to their own conclusions with the info you give them about which games your current drop can load.

Yes if Steam doesn't think you're connected to the Steam network it will flag all save games that use a workshop scenario in this way.

I've had people delete their save games from this before when all they really had to do was wait for Steam to come back.

Please change the message to indicate it may just be due to being offline so people stop thinking they have to delete their save games.
