Anyone had their factions disappear with this latest patch? I am currently running a dedicated server with a few friends, and when we went up to 1.3 a few days ago, all my NPC factions disappeared. Anyone else experienced this and got any idea on how to get them back? Starting a new game is not an option, we have literally many hundreds of hours of work put into this one. Tried verifying the files, no change... everythings till unknown. Thoughts? Ideas?
Welcome to the forum mate. With 1.3, on new games, you have to discover a "POI" from a faction to show up. https://empyriononline.com/threads/version-1-3-x.96510/#post-425272 Not sure why they are not showing on existing games.
You have to discover them with a POI you havent explored yet in existing games Just go to a POI you never been at yet or a compleet new planet you never been on yet Then find the POIs this should also make the Factions discovered In SP you can also open the console and type Code: faction discover <faction> to make them discovered. Replace <faction> with the FactionName
Cool thanks, yeah tried to go to the Talon villages, but of course, already been there. Did find a Progenitor Freighter in space... but still regarded as unknown. Problem is weve already been a lot of places lol. Will try that though, its a good idea thnx again
