Bought this game last Saturday, and as usual I started over a few times until I felt confortable with gameplay. Now here are my questions: -I was doing tutorial of base building and got attacked by some drones and couldn't defeat them, I had only an assault rifle on me and game said I couldn't use it on them. So how to defeat them? -started another save and was able to reach a crashed ship where I got my very first hover. Game controls seems to be console related and I couldn't figure out how to fly that thing. Is there a way on how to change tooltips for pc? -how to start a base in the middle of nowhere? It seems every time I want to place something it need to be snapped to some pre existing piece. Thanks in advance
-You should be able to destroy drones with an assault rifle. The weapons have max ranges. Were the drones within the range of the rifle? -A fully functional hover has the normal wasd controls by default. If it is a crashed ship, is the hover damaged? Does the hover have repulsor engines? A generator? A fuel tank? Is there fuel in the fuel tank? If all of that looks good to go, check to make sure that the engines are providing enough vertical thrust (in the control panel). Large ships or high gravity planets require more thrust. -You need to convert a core into a base starter. You can do that at a constructor Hope that helps! Have fun!
