Player needs to be able to crate a seed where the original planet they are crashing on is randomly generated, not a cookie cutter new player play-field. Give it low, medium and high survival environmental factors...so a "Low survival rate is bleak resources, no air, little water so the player has to immediately go into build mode and most likely will not survive. While High would be a world filled with resources where a Player can take their time and level up and explore. Medium survival could be a meat grinder with good amount of resources and a huge amount of enemy forces to deal with.
Give either Project Eden or Reforged Eden scenarios a try. They have exactly what you're looking for.
I agree. I loath the new starter planets. If it were not for Project Eden, I would have quit playing.
Having just started playing 2 weeks ago, vanilla, I'm not sure why you all hate the starter planets. Skillon was a bit challenging to me as I was trying to learn how to play the game. Radiation burns, fire rain, etc. It kept me engaged as a new player. Oh, and pleased to meet you all. Having a lot of fun with the game.
i agree with your opinion. every start moons are so safe for experienced player. we need more dangerous factors like drones, infected POI and base attack at the very first start. in these moons, tech tree has no more survival-meaning. we can get everything what we need, with less danger then before. maybe fresh start on OMICRORN is easy way to handle this.
