Currently (1.4.2) I must actually make a game backup and then build a turret category in order to see afterwards with the right mouse button what the statistics for specific turrets are, like the ammo used, the potential ammo damage delivered etc. It would be fine to see this info beforehand somehow, so to see for example how a artillery turret is better than a laser turret etc., best place to get this info could be the Empyriopedia in a Turret section.
