pressurisation and realism

    so is the pressurisation of ships and stations planned at all? would be nice to add an extra layer of realism to the game. I know forcefields kind of negate it a little, but it would be cool.

    imagine taking a stray rocket to the side of your ship, an alarm goes off and the cargo bay is in vacuum. theres no sound, no 02 and things have been sucked out into space..

    I would rather they balance ground fighting and work on that prior to any other endeavor. The game is hard enough now :) but it would be something to look at.

    Sound mechanics in general are in a terrible state. The lack of positional audio is almost crippling in most combat situations. It would add a great deal of verisimilitude to have sound effects associated with being in a vacuum, moving underwater, or even just having your helmet on.

    I presume most of that's due in some future update. In the meantime, keep your eyes open and pretend your character is deaf in one ear.
