i accidently deleted my current saves (it was late and my pc was laggy) so sort of trying to get back to where i was (without spending days killing slimes) using the 'level = ' command and the 'level x+' command i can get mu level to where it was But - all the techs below that level are unlocked. Using 'level u+' i can add upgrade points. However is there any way of JUST increasing my level WITHOUT unlocking the tech below from the console ?? so i can get back to where i was.. thanks in advance if anyone can answer my question.
The only way I could do this was to just add a few thousand XP at a time and keep leveling up, this did confuse me a little as well. Hope someone can confirm that this is currently not possible. Is there a specific reason you wont want certain tech unlocked?
yeah, looks not possible - i tried that The main reason i wanted was to recreate the game stage i managed to delete (which i'd reached mainly by slaughtering slimes) and it was more that i hadn't unlocked technology (ie the entire SV tree) - which had sort of painted me into a corner i thought there may be an easy way - but i'll just have to Not use the technologies i hadn't unlocked and dock muself of UP points for a couple of levels (just needs self discipline - yuk) thanks for anwering and confirming what i thought though. --
