What started as a build of the USS Discovery from Star Trek: Discovery turned into something of a hybrid. It features the saucer section of the Discovery (and will be using the Discovery's nacelle design) with some design cues taken from the USS Shenzhou because the Discovery would have been too long on its own to fit in the space the game allows. This large, slow, heavy (and heavily armed) HV was designed as a test platform for a cosmetic hull treatment I call "Hullweave" which is made up of wall and slope blocks alternating in a pattern to form what resembles carbon fiber.
