Hi, Apologies if this is the wrong place to post, or if this is a daft question. I've scoured the wiki / web / forums etc, so I must be doing something wrong but I have no idea what. I am still in the tutorial, but I cant use the small constructor for some reason; all the input / outputs are locked. The base has power from generator / fuel, but all items in the cargo box are still locked when on the small constructor ui. Any combo of input / output storage for the constructor to use still show as locked. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I've attached a screenshot. Thanks!
Items in the "input" panel are always "locked" and to access them you need to open the corresponding container, not the constructor's interface. Your "input" container does not contain base materials to make "components" for "Hover Vessels" since these are the 2 tabs you have chosen on the top right "Templates" menu.Try to pick up wood logs (from trees), iron, copper and silicon (from colored rocks on the ground or from mining) and some crushed stones (all big and small rocks can be "harvested" with survival tool or drill) and put all these in your "input" container. You should now see lots of templates in most tabs apart "medical supplies" and "food". Don't forget to unlock devices and weapons in the tech tree for them to be available to craft.
