I have been meaning to send this out for a while, but I always forget... Well now I haven't! This 'tool' of sorts is a way to help build coherent sector.yaml files which will have the proper connections that are actually warpable. It does this by using complex formulas in excel which are used to calculate the distance between 3 dimensional points, and in so doing, help you identify whether the setup of your stars is actually warpable (using the conditional formatting rules in excel, replace the values with whatever you have for warpLY).

It's not too difficult; just update your planet names, and you can make your own positioning of planets, or use the randomize formula to just get some ideas. Once you have finished this you calculate the formulas on the Distances Tab. Once you do that you'll get a comprehensive view of how far away each star is to the other star. This can be helpful when building sector.yamls without a GalaxyConfig, or if you have a sparsely populated galaxy with maybe not so many paths which you would want to make an accessible galaxy. For my scenario I wanted to make a galaxy with specific centrality to 0,0,0 however you can certainly modify the sheet for whatever your needs are. There are also ways to improve the ease of use, but for now I wanted to just put it out there and see if it's helpful for anyone first.
