I have been going over my old builds and realized that I have been doing something that may have invalidated the majority of my builds from being added to the game. Since this is a very long habit of mine, I figured I would ask before making the large number of changes I would need to make in order to correct this. I know that enclosed thrusters are a big no-no, but what about thrusters behind vents? I have a very long habit of placing thrusters behind vents to protect them (taking care to leave the exhaust open). They are still visible to players, but does this make them ineligible for submission? Example 1: Example 2:
Those Vents are the ones not Airtight. Therefore they STAY in use even if this '5 Blocks of empty Space'-Rule should ever go live.
Yep, and I always make sure that I use the non-airtight ones. But the question is, does this invalidate a build from consideration to be added to the game?
Only builds with "internal" thrusters (surrouned by actual armor blocks or really "inside" are a no go. Covered by vents is ok I think.
