Not sure if it's a bug or intentional: After visiting a new sun system and planets/moons with my CV the system map shows relevant information about ressources in orbit as well as gravity, radiation, temperature range for planets, it's in the Info Panel on the right side. But once I leave the system and return to my starter system all this info is gone. I can select the new visited system by going in the galaxy map, chosing the sun, then chosing the system which will show all orbits but NO more known information about gravity (it shows 0), temperature (shows 0), radiation (shows 0), and no ressource icons listed for what you could find in orbit or on planets. Once discovered it makes sense that this information remains visible in the map, but it ain't so. Bug?
By thinking more about it I understand the logic behind: Data like temperature etc. are for scanning devices that need to operate onsite to give the data, this explains why you only get the info when in the system. Besides, in the waypoint registry section all ressource sites that you have discovered are still listed.
