These are my cherished designs, a collection of 'function over form' utility vessels that use the absolute minimum resources needed to accomplish the maximum function in game. Appealing to both beginners who want real value for their resources, and advanced players who want minimalist utility for the fastest advancement possible, these are vehicles for power-users, minimalists, and perfectionists.

These are not blueprints for people who want to float in a luxury arcade in space, they are not vehicles for freedom mode, they will not 'get you the girls', or impress your friends, unless you're competing with your friends, in which case you'll kick the living crap out of their ill-conceived monetized-youtuber-built vanity blueprints, and they'll be eating your dust and wondering you how you beat them so badly.

These are competition-level vessels with no real competition in the workshop, they are simply, better than anything else available ( I looked ) for the cost, role, and level they're built for, and they were built sequentially & meticulously for the early stages of the game on the hardest settings, on the hardest planet.

The Aya is your arctic survival HV ( available levels 3, or 5 ), The Naya is your inner-system hatch-miner ( level 7, or 5 ), The Ayanaya is your ultralight CV ( level 10 ) with which to travel interstellar and acquire rare resources.

You will be shocked at the resource cost of these vehicles and what they will do for you for that price. You just will not find any vehicle comparable to any of these 3 for their respective role, I spent well over 100 hours designing and playtesting these vehicles, I am a perfectionist in the way that people with asperger's syndrome are, no detail is too small to be overlooked ( and I couldn't if I wanted to ) and if it could save you half a second of game time per function, I poured over it until i saved that half second, and then questioned whether half a second was too long! You will progress through the game simply and fluidly in these vehicles and you'll wonder why every vehicle was not built in this fashion, that is my guarantee. Fly/ride them and you will fall in love with their simplicity and efficiency.

    AYA - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2288522482

The Aya is an innovative and inexpensive all-role early craft, unlockable at level 5 ( with a lvl 3 unlock variant, the Aya III ). The Aya is the answer to all of your early game problems, packing a robust weapons package and a fast-resource collection system, while keeping you temperature controlled and oxygenated, it's full array of features and protections along with its extremely low cost means this is an HV that is essential and affordable at the earliest levels, and useful well into the late game when mining hostile lava planets or navigating tight spaces is necessary.

    Resources:

    120 Copper
    108 Silicon
    70 Iron
    155 Carbon substrate

Even on hard settings on a barren snow planet, these resources can be gathered on your first game day.

    Features:

    - Fully enclosed, temperature controlled & vented O2 supply.
    - Immediate Drone launch system, no need to move 1 inch after exiting your seat!
    - Ultra fast "Triple F" retrieval system, Mine & gather directly from thepoint you exit your seat through the rear and floor hatch, simply exit your seatwith "F", Gather with "F", and re-enter your seat with "F". 1 Key, no movement,& no need to switch from 3rd person view. " F, F, F "
    - Compare this with other craft, where you exit with "F", change your viewpoint with "V",Move to your hatch location or exit the vehicle entirely "W", pickup with "F", Move back to your seat "W", re-enter your seat with "F", then change back to 3rd person view with "V", so "Triple F" vs. " F, V, W, F, W, F, V "
    - Spot-light targeting system, undermounted spotlight highlights exactly what will be in eyeshot via floor hatch when you leave your seat. Just drive the Aya over the item/rock until the spotlight is on it, exit your seat, pickup, and be on your way again.
    - Triple-F collection & spotlight targetting nearly DOUBLES gathering speed of spot-ore and food vs.other enclosed HVs, while also allowing drone drill mining without moving your avatar, exitting the vehicle or placing a portable heater.

    - Timber Harvester
    - Full Forward and backward speeds in 1.5 seconds, 2 backpeddling thrusters mean you stop on a dime to pickup fast.
    - A respectable 30 m/s Lateral hover (left/right )
    - Full Glass cockpit view.
    - Respectable center-mass despite being an asymetric 1-engine design, rests just 1 degree nose up back/front.
    - Safety bump assures you cant fall out of the craft via the floor hatch. ( exit via the roof hatch)
    - Re-entry fail-safes via rear, top, and floor hatches. Nearly impossible to get stuck outside ofthis craft, since you can click on the cockpit from nearly any angle.
    - High vantage Seat for optimal view of terrain, riding low is no good for exploring and gathering.
    - Proper HOV engine ( not repulsor ) for High-hover to avoid obstructions and hang-ups.
    - Weight profile and single & centered HOV engine allow you to easily pull the nose up/down to aim at drones.
    - Properly placed and protected fuel tank.
    - Raised harvester ( 1 blocks above HOV engine level ) to reduce bumping and snagging.
    - Narrow profile at the base ( 5 wide ) to reduce bumps & snags.
    - Empty undercarriage in the rear means you can 'backward mount' rocks without increasing hover height, so you ride above obstructions at all times, but can mount a rock, drill it, and still be able to reach the ground for pickup, all without adjusting your hover height.
    - Connected floor & rear hatches mean you can back against very large rocks and mine them though the back door, also increases Field of view for picking things up that may have bounced a bit.
    - 1 Touch-Kill via 4 Gatling Guns for fast experience accrual.
    - 360 degree "Spotter Turret" to help you find those golems with their rare ore, or to warn of drones. Your spotter turret is BRIGHT for a reason, so you can easily see which way it's pointing.
    - Turret kill-switch on your control panel to quickly turn it off/on so it doesn't steal kills/experience.- A LOT of room both in the undercarriage to add cargo capacity or extras.

    Owner instructions:
Exit the vehicle using the roof hatch or jumping.
Enter by clicking the cockpit seat.
Food/Ore collection should be done at roughly half-hover height: high enough to float over rocks, low enough to reach the ground for pickup.
This craft is designed to be operated with all 3 Hatches open at all times.
Key'ing "Auto rotate & Jump/Up" to your right mouse button makes operating hover vehicles more enjoyable, especially when going up mountains.
Key'ing "Down" to your Mouse-wheel button makes backing up and lowering the vehicle simultaneously easier.
In 1st person mode drone launch is instant and requires no movement whatsoever to launch,
In 3rd person, slide your mouse pointer ever so slightly left after exitting your seat, to the window in front of your gatlings, now you can launch.

    NAYA - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2288527021

    Resources:

    Copper 232
    Silicon 182
    Iron 170
    Carbon substrate 378
    Neodymium 10
    Cobalt 4
    Titanium Rod 4

The Naya is a VERY inexpensive Tier 2 Multi-role, with emphasis on early inner-system asteroid mining, The Naya features an innovative Cockpit-in-cockpit system, when you exit your cockpit, you remain inside of the vessels hull, protected from the harshness of space, with immediate drone-launch from that point, as well as access to your ships components and features ( fridge/o2/armorlocker/cargo ). This means you can drone-drill mine without any armor or EVA. The Naya comes fully ready to add a Short range Warp drive & pentaxid tank, for which its designed, and also has purpose built space for a shield, if desired.

Sporting 3 Nose-mounted Gatling Cannons and 6 Omni-directional minigun turrets, the Naya comes with a full suite Defense suite, and the trigger-pull to put down drones and planetary creatures alike for accruing fast experience.

The Naya's main hull is fully-encasing steel plate, with extended off-hull carbon fiber armor & turret mountings to keep explosive damage and attacks on your turrets AWAY from your main hull and vital components.

The Naya is the perfect vehicle to acquire inner-system space-based resources as you save toward building your first Capital Vessel.

    AYANAYA - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2288527486

    Resources:

    Neodymium 560
    Iron 408
    Titanium 284
    Silicon 271
    Cobalt 269
    Copper 150
Carbon substrate 701 ( Carbon in my vehicles actually has a function, not just decoration )
    Sathium 50

The ( redesigned ) Ayanaya is a purpose-built rescue and retrieval CV. Coming in cheaper than many SV's, the Ayanaya is the perfect craft to visit far away places and fetch rare resources while using little fuel and almost no oxygen, she also makes a fantastic back-up warp vehicle for retrieving lost or destroyed ships. Sporting mostly small thrusters with optimized placement, she is inexpensive, but very responsive at the nose and will quickly point you in the right direction. This craft is purpose-built for Drone-Drill mining & scavenging out of the force-field hatch behind the pilot seat, just exit your seat and immediately launch your drone! A foot-stop prevents your drone from knocking you out of the hatch, but a clone chamber & medical bay are included anyway, just in case! available void spaces in the cockpit leave ample room for extras you might want, and the Ayanaya is built to house a Shield & Larger generator + more in her engine room! As soon as you get that Zasc/Ero ore she's ready for a shield upgrade!
Fully encased in Steel plate, front to back, side to side, top and bottom. She fields 3 Rapid fire Cannon turrets with optimal and concentrated Lines of sight, with purpose-built flush mountings for up to 10 Turrets spaced off the hull, 1 rocket isn't gonna destroy your internal components or blow your fuel tank. The Ayanaya will make scrap parts of half a dozen or more drones at once, no problem! Her turrets are omni-directional ( cover all sides ) but also share the same unobstructed forward field of fire, so that all are brought to bare on whatever is in your cross-hairs, with a shield, full turret package, and your skilled piloting, she can take down enemy corvettes with little issue.

Start your galactic journey with the Ayanaya, she is low on resources but BIG on functionality, this is a ship you will never scrap, a great back-up vessel to have even when you've moved on to bigger things.

I have already built and will be publishing my base designs in the next 48 hours, writing descriptions and using the ultra-elite "MSPaint" graphics program ( Its been 20 years since i've used paintshoppro and I don't remember how ) for my cover-screen shots takes precious time :p but log into the "Aya survival series" in the next couple of days for...

    - An ultra-light and cheap starter base, solar powered ( its half the cost of the Aya )
    - An orbital ore-processor & ammunition production base that produces over 16KPU of solar power and supports 15+ constructors + furnace, with full directions for its use. ( Costs less than Naya. )
    - A Solar powered teleport station, for cheap and easy movement throughout the galaxy. ( Costs less than the Naya. )

None of the bases require fuel or generator. and instructions on where and how to place them to get the maximum solar energy will be included in their descriptions on the workshop.

These look interesting, I've subscribed and plan to test them out in my new singleplayer Reforged Eden 1.2 run. Hopefully they'll work, given how stripped down you've made them.
