sorry just saw your posts.
Do you want to use the slave from another computer or just a different user on the Server.
If on Server, just other User:
- go to config, put in the Master-Config Path. As the tooltip says its the path of the config-folder of the Master tool (so you need access to that).
- put SynTpye to Master (on Master) and Slave (on Slave).
- Restart Master and Slave tool.

If on another comupter:
- got to config
- put SynTpye to Master (on Master) and Slave (on Slave).
- on the slave side put in the right IP of the Server and the Port (set it on Master and slave) that you want to use (dont forget to allow the tool access from the firewall)
- Set a Password on Master and Slave (button Sync Password)
- Restart Master and Slave tool.

Now it should work.

so you tool is running on the server, behind a FW, so i have to do port forwarding to the server.

I want to run the tool on my pc, outsite the network of the server.

Witch data i have to copy from the server to my pc ?

Glad to hear that. Sorry was busy coding... But at least I just finished the first possible hosted-Server Version. Just have to test it the next couple days.... Lite Version Goodbye

 

here my way it works

so i used port 21000

in the server config is the local ip of the server
in the client is the server ip you see from the inet
do the fierwall config for port 21000
set the password, restart the tool on both sites

go the the slave on Master / Slave
press reload data

all works GREAT

Not that smast to post that here someone with knowledge in hacking can use it against u and your server

 

it is not the ip of my server

the server ip is fake if some will try to hack it fine ;-)

 

Not to mention the first IP is private address space, and thus unrouteable on the Internet.

 

@Jascha is there a way to restore a wiped planet? I backed up before I wiped it. Apparently I had a typo in the wipe list and got one of my planets wiped on accident.

 

Copy the backup back. That should do it

 

@Taelyn that'd clear all progress up to this point. Any way to do it just one planet?

 

Copy just that planet out of the backup back. Playfield\your planet

Verified Server? Just got Verified. If I add the line to the dedicated.yaml, will it be wiped out if I make any changes to the server settings in EAH? Can this please be added as a setting when you get a minute?

 

already asked him to do that. U cant change the dedicated.yaml with EAH anyway if u add lines to it what arnt made in EAH yet.
