Hi guys, instead of an "Update" button I only get a "Publish Scenario" button. This would create a completely new instance on Steam everytime which I want to avoid. Does anyone know how to fix this? When does the game realize I have updated something in the scenario folder?
Go to the workshop, look at the "subscribe" button URL and it will have a number in it (ID). Copy that number to the clipboard, then rename your scenario to "scenario__[that number]". There are two underscores. Use the original scenario name, just add two underscores and the secret number.

And with "renaming your scenario" you mean the name of it in the Steam Workshop or the folder on my local HD?
What that will do is rename your scenario on the workshop. It is recommended to go into the Workshop and rename the scenario, before going public.
Well, you can have pictures in ".JPG" format. Each playfield can have one called "preview_empty". http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=965473377 @piddlefoot , The Omicron flats starting location has iron mines, within several meters in every direction... just for you!
I should have said that yes, the game usually generates pictures in a different format to that , pics to paintbrush and convert to jpg. Is that how you also do it ?
Kind of. I use a screenshot program that captures in various formats. I find it more convenient than converting. I thought at one time they changed the in-game screenshot format to JPG... now it's PNG again.? ?
