    Feistgesicht.png I'm still trying to design a general purpose SV that feels right and is available at Level 10. This awkward looking craft works very well so far. I even punched out a couple of POI's with only minor damage. It works very well for drone mining in non-Akuq environments as well.

    You put a HV docked to do the mining. Clever, but isn't CV mining turret better?

    Space Station variation of your massive Base with this 'improved' underground levels need some serious living section like 'baracks' or even better some kind of 'space hotel' with lots of room (like 50 or so) that could be given or rented one day to the players when someday someone use this great build as central hub in his server!
    This Space Station has fantastic potential, its design is universal and fits every 'human based' scenario - and it have its companion in lend bound Base :)

    I was looking at the vast amount of space available in the basement and thinking initially I'd probably end up with a lot of unused space but once I started planning stuff out I think I might just fill the whole dang thing. I added some "thruster" exhaust ports to the exterior(because even if they don't work it makes sense for a space station to have some way to move around and reposition itself) and I'm going to extend the piping for that inside to what will probably be power/engine rooms eventually. Going with the Space Moles design theory of adding all the duct work and crawl spaces and the like. Alas I don't quite have their talent for complexity but I'm going to try.

    I need to add rooms and corridors for luggage/cargo operations and I'm going to squeeze in living quarters and guest rooms somewhere. Pretty much all the exterior structural work has been of a practical nature so far although there's a lot of flat space that could use some greeble. I'll probably do that last.

    Probably need more engineering spaces for water filtration and garbage disposal. Maybe food storage and an expanded kitchen. Casino? I'll have to see how it looks once the power/engine rooms and corridors are laid out.

    Ideas on what else to add are welcome! I have a feeling there will be plenty of room.

    Yeah I've got a little space to work with :p

    Whoa Siege, this is just getting better and better. Looking forwards docking my luxury space yacht to your station and playing some roulette. But make sure I have private entry from the penthouse suite to the casino - so that I don't have to see the common rabble on the way :cool::D:p

    Space Moles School of Design Theory.... when did that happen!? I like it, although I have to admit it kinda freaks me out a little.
    Anyways, needless to say I'm always super stoked when people show this kind of appreciation and it really isn't humility when I say it was never expected; I initially published a few things for "shits and giggles", and well, that escalated quickly!;)

    Blatant chest-puffing aside, I can't wait to see what you do with this base, especially as we've just gone back to working on an endgame Space Moles Space Station! ;)

    You guys have a very distinct way of building in terms of the level of complexity and actually adding the practical things like duct work instead of just hand waving it away. It's pretty cool to see the end results.

    I'm trying to make this thing look like it belongs in space and wasn't something that was just ripped off a planet and plunked down in orbit. It's going to need a little more I think. Still too much flat space on the underside.

    I have built such miners rather for difficult environments as under 4.x of a different kind, because larger capital in longer execution are also more stable like a longer rectangle at the same time you can equip such ships with all useful stuff and many weapon systems.

    I have not looked at your ship yet I just came back to it but it is enough for quite peaceful starting areas.

    My capital could certainly also be used for Böhrer but it would be extremely high in the amount and had already had some problems with construction.

    ja, mein CV ist vermutlich auch nur für Starter bzw. einfache Planeten geeignet (keine Ahnung, bin ziemlicher Neuling, und war bisher noch auf keinem anderen Planeten (*lach*), vom Mond abgesehen...
    aber gerade für Akua und ähnliche, und anfangs wo Ressourcen knapp sind, das sind die Stärken - und natürlich Coop-Mining und Geschwindigkeit (man muss nicht neu positionieren, sondern man wechselt einfach den Sitzplatz ;-)

    Du hast aber anscheinend mein System nicht verstanden ?
    Es ist nicht schlecht gemacht besonders Kompakt besteht aber aus 2 Externen teile ?
    Ich habe Traumatische Erlebnisse hinter mir aber nein nicht PVP(heute für mich absolut Pfui)
    Bin aber nicht der einzige mit solchen Erlebnisse haben früher viel in Gruppen zusammen gemacht.
    Für Neuling sogar sehr gut gemacht habe aber hier auch noch nie meine werke gepostet ist das erste mal nur ein Ideen Anreiz.

    sorry, dann bitte um Erklärung...
    was ich oben sehe/sah ist ein CV und ein HV. Der HV ist angedockt und hat nen Bohrer dran.

    (ich hab nen CV und einen HV dran, der 4 Bohrer hat und damit sowohl horizontal als auch vertikal 90% abdeckt, genauer von der Halbkugel unterhalb vom Schiff)
    (das mit PVP verstehe ich auch grad nicht... das Teil muss man nicht zu mehreren fliegen wenn du das meinst, ich spiel eigentlich sowieso meist allein)

    Mein Schiff ist ein längeres Rechteck damit es stabil steht auch in unebene Gelände und ist ein CV das ich seitlich legen muss um ein HV einzustellen es hat kein Antrieb nur andockten dann ist es wie festgenagelt. und CV wieder normal aufgestellt zeigt das HV nach unten muss nur noch auf Rohstoff Positioniert werden und kannst größere Flächen 15 Meter tief ausgraben ohne die Position zu verändern.

    CVs lassen sich gut bewaffnen auch mit Nah Waffen und auch gegen Spieler(Gott behüte mich das ich mal Player killen muss :D) Dabei war ich mal Hardcore PVPler :D
    CV lassen sich mit alles bestücken und können auch Warpen zum Ziel und mit KR Hangar bestücken aber sollten nicht zu groß werden und mit mehreren Spieler ausstatten.
    Das jetzige ist aber eher noch Prototyp mit dem HV- Bohrer gab es noch Probleme.

    Bei deinen Schiff wird aber das Minig HV nicht mitgespahwnt ?

    Probier mal meine Variante ;-) bzw. schau dir die Bilder meiner letzten Mining Session an ;-)
    (Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=937859255 die Bilder im Sichtbereich, ich leere das komplette 7000er Erzvorkommen, muss dafür genau 2x neupositionieren um alles(!) abzubauen...
    Das sehe ich als Problem deiner Variante: Neupositionierung und Sicht- bzw. Wirkungsbereich ;-)

    (Ja, meins ist nie und nimmer PVP geeignet, ich bin aber auch nur PVE und Coop-Spieler und ein Abwehr-Turm reicht grad gegen Drohnen aus, aber man kann ja auch erweitern...)

    Edit:

    Es sind zwei Schiffe, ein CV und ein HV, wie bei dir.
    Müssen beide getrennt gebaut werden (ist immer so), dann das HV unter das CV manövrieren, andocken, fertig. :)
    Wenn man mit "F" aus dem CV-Pilotensitz aufsteht, landet man direkt im HV-Sitz, da dieser direkt darunter positioniert ist :)
    Einfacher geht net ;-)
