Correct. CUs have been Implemented, but their Balancing has not yet even begun so Balance Considerations should, for now, be disregarded.
Ok, made my mind up just before sunrise to "close the gap" in my Production Temple. That finished I shuffled all material into the BP of the ERIDANUS...which I forgot to start production before log out....*sigh*.
I spent today tweaking the LVL 1 starter base, added a door and reserved a spot on the roof for a turret. I also converted it to cement, but I do not know if I am going to upload that one. Players are usually above LVL 1 by the time they start making a base. After I was done messing around with that, I revisited the Puddle Jumper. I added more volume capacity, an additional RCS, and upgraded the rear hover engines so they can handle more weight. I have been debating on tweaking my old miner builds. Many of them (like the 1-drill models) are small enough to make use of the hover thrusters instead of the old hover engine/RCS/thruster setup.
just finished another "tiny" vehicle. the SPHM is designed to fasten up the removel of stones from underground bases that where spawned from blueprints. It fit's in corridors of 1 block size but needs at least a 2 blocks wide space to turn around (with retracted lasers). It's designed as a little brother to the SPCM I posted a few days ago and follows the same design concept: using as little space as possible while don't care at all for how it looks ;-)
Ok so after making that Rescue pod I then lusted for something of similar design but bigger. Introducing Joselyn, a 5 seater warp capable window shuttle. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1647551002 Using lagshot armour in and around cockpit as well as throughout the rear section. Idea was to give better protection against POI lagshot.
Mostly just messed with corridors today. Though I did make the Combat Bridge on the Red Millenium. Which is situated in the heart of the ship behind several layers of combat steel armor. It's inspired by a certain place from a certain show. If anyone can figure out the reference.
Looks awesome as the rest of the pics you have submitted of that ship I find myself looking in here everyday to see if you post something Now... as to the reference, it does ring a bell... but sadly i seem to be def since i can't pinpoint it ^^ I wanna say B5, but then again... i always answers B5 to any sci-fi related stuffs...
Todays creation - a small Jetty with slip way for the speedboat - unfinished Speedboat is a re-skin of @Furious Hellfire s treleste:
HERETIC!!!! *wips out the old spankingstick* B5 is Babylon 5.. ( The spacestation in the series with the same name) it reminded me of the command bridge there... i think. Been a while since i watched it so it may not look anything like i remember
This is my quick painting of the revised Red Hawker. At a later time I will polish it. For now, at least it isn't a solid grey anymore. Workshop updated.
Since I have built my First SV, the ERIDANUS, I had no chance to test his carrying capabilities properly. As I now have been able, first time, to actually call upon that SV I was impressed that it lifted the 60 tons in his CC with ease. Its own weight, after adding 2 more Generators is now about 120 tons. There is still enough space left to add more Truster if need should be.
I was actually up late tonight for work, but before I head to bed, I wanted to share that I left two mining HV in the ground. As part of exploring 7500 CPU, I have been looking at some of the BP from the workshop. There was about four mining HV I found that fit the bill, but my field testing didn't turn out well for two of them. I don't think any of them were built for 2.0 g. The ones that passed my testing, I had to drill a second shaft back up to get out of the hole I was digging. But two once pointed down and digging, well, for the life of me I couldn't get them to turn again. It was as if they were locked into the tunnels. There was nothing about the placement of the drills or the lengths of the HV that would have made me suspect that they would get "locked into" their own shafts going down, but needless to say there are now two HV stuck in my creative game for testing that aren't going anywhere on their own.
Did you try the latest one that i made? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1645770297 Not sure about 2g since i only tested it in 1.2g, but... even with a full cargo (7750 vol) of ore i shot right out the hull like a bullet when i turned on the "powerthrust" -mode.
