    SERVER NAME:
    SEED-ID: 408724
    If applicable:
    MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: No

    Reproducibility: (Always)
    Severity: Minor/Major

    Type: weight and balance
Summary: It takes 2 of any item in the left container to equal the right containers weight.

Description: Even though the screens read equal weights in the left and right container, the right side always weighs 2x the left even with identical items.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    Load savegame.
HV left container and right container are nearly equal in weight.
Hover up the vehicle and it will lean right hard.
Remove 1/2 the right side weight and it will equalize. The base container (1) has some zeno blocks if you want to try those, it will take 2 blocks in the left container for every one in the right to stay level. The HV is balanced and only has issues when loaded up.
I solved the issue in game by connecting the 2 containers into 1 but I still see this as a potential serious issue.

Got an idea for your weight Left and Right balance issue. Attached a picture to help illustrate.

Maybe the weight of a block or some blocks or perhaps just cargo is on 1 plane / face of the block rather than the center. If this was the case and you placed both on each side in the same orientation then it would favor 1 side vs the other and lean one way with equal weight. To test this go to your same setup and rotate the blocks so that the same face points inward toward the core, see if it still does the same thing. Also could rotate them both opposite to see if it leans the OTHER way.

Hope this makes sense. Odd issue that I never caught, how did you anyway? =)

I have been in build mode lately, updated an HV and used the CE blocks for the body since they had all those neat shapes now. I knew the constructor needed an input and output and didnt realize it could use the same "box" so went with a left and right container system. i looted a POI of Zeno Blocks and when I started to load them up i keep leaning right unless I doubled the amount of blocks in the left side.

My HV is small and it looks a lot like a car. Perhaps wider vehicles don't suffer as much from the issue and therefore is less noticeable.

I may look into the orientation of the blocks but if that is the case they just complicated building a lot :)

    The HV in question.

I thought I was going crazy and thought maybe because I put the only fuel tank on one side it was what was causing it but glad to see it's a known bug.

    Fixed in A12.
No ETA for the exact date of A12 release to EXP as of posting this.
