Is there a way to set private for small items like the portable constructor or the 02 condenser? I don't see them anywhere on the list
I used to use the finish blueprint option under set blueprint for players that lost something due to a game bug. Now this is greyed out and won't let me check it. Is it intended or am I doing something wrong? Thanks 1.45.04
Hey, its only working if the player started the blueprint (and give it another half minute). Could this be the issue?
Once I confirmed a BP was started I waited and even relaunch EAH which can take more than a minute. I checked on some other players where I had checked that box once in the past and it is still checked and I am unable to UNcheck the box. I appreciate your response.
As a work around, I was able to use 'change player ingame' screen to set the 'BP finished in (seconds)' to 1 which finished the BP in 1 second.
I have a few questions Were it says regenerate Poi's Can i UN check that and set all the poi's and play fields to regen manually in the I want to control the regens my self . also will players be able to core pois if i do this i dont want to make all pois admin cause the ability to core a poi gives a lot of xp if you multitool them down or it used to but at the same time will the time table regen the player cored poi ? or will I have to delete them first then regen them all this being done via the time table.
Hey, you can do it manually like this in the timetable: There is no command to wipe all yet. I will implement that the next days. Also: This wipe only happens on restart of the playfield. So whatever time you set, the playfield has to restart to take affect (a simple unload due to no players on that playfield is enough) About the other questions about what the difference is and how it works, maybe someone else can say something.
1. This "Regenerate POI's" just means that your "RegenAfter" Key in the playfield.yaml will be respected. 2. If a player can core a POI or not depends on the Core type. If you have a regular red Alien Core built in, you can core it. 3. If a POI is completely dismantled and you triger the "Wipe POI" via EAH, it will get regenerated, no matter what. If a player built a base on that spot, the regenerated POI will glitch inside the player built base. 4. If a player claim the POI for himself, the Wipe POI timetable job will also overwrite the faction again and the player will get killed in "his" POI. --- Overall you can control a lot of things precisely and it depends what you want to achieve. Admin Cores are still the best way to guide the player through POIs.
OK so can you guys answer a few questions for me about the Event manager I can understand most of it the trouble im runing in to is 1 do i make a "event planet" for the events 2 how do i get the pois and positions to work (example) 3 V 3 base claim who ever holds the base till the end wins>gets a prize 3 I need a full explanation on how to set up the playfield for it .
Hey, first of all use the Event Type "Capture the base" And set under the Winning Conditions the Name of the POI that should be captured (exact name!) and then add under "Locations" a position for A and b Enter the coordinates that you want them to start. Of course this only works if the POI has a fixed coordinate and always the same name!
yeah i got all that Do i need to make a playfield for the poi in question and how do i get the cords for the player locations do i need to go to the poi and stand by it i never really understood the cords system very well I made a playfield just for the events put on the poi placed the cords in the event manager and it tries to work but it never teleports me to the location any help would be great
I can't help you much with the playfield. The Coordinates. Right go to the position you want them to spawn. Look at your coordinates and enter them. If he can't find the POI, then maybe the name is wrong (see it shows you a space behind the name) or its not loaded yet
what i was missing was a Orbit for the event space /facepalm man getting everything right is hard sometimes . thank you for the help.
Anyone else having an issue with the EAH tool not loading Playfields under Features? Worked fine before today's patch.
