You shouldnt even be able to place 2 T1 shield generators. Or do u mean remove it and place a new one?
Can you upload your CV's Blueprint to here so i can test it out? Just tried it in SP and works fine, only one is allowed
It doesn't allow anymore after placing a T1 and upgrade to T2 and then you can place another T1 CV BP
I've left the vessel at coords -8082 -1282 on Aroposa if you want to go take a look. Will be back on a bit later...
Might be related: If you are in Creative and place a T2 Shield Generator but decide to remove it with the MT you get a T1 back
Actually you can have both t1 and t2 sheild gen on a cv simultaneously. Figured it was bug. You can just walk up to a cv place 1 of each on with no issue.
You place a T1 Shield Generator on a CV. Use multitool upgrade on T1 shield generator to turn it into a T2 Shield Generator You now have 1 T2 shield generator and no T1 shield generators. Therefore, you can place a new T1 shield generator alongside the T2 shield generator. Attempting to upgrade your new T1 shield generator into a second T2 will result in exceeding the single T2 shield generator limit and so does not complete the upgrade. Taking the upgrade components and keeping the T1 shield generator in the process. Important note: Using both a T2 and a T1 shield generator at once will give you the shield value of the T1 generator, not the T2 nor a cumulative value. Thus, don't try and cheat the system. You'll only hurt yourself.
done on purpose. U cant craft the T2. Only by upgrade u can get it. So you cant get it my MTing either
Do you get the resources back for the lose of the T2? So that you can turn it back into a T2 just in case you might want to move it in your base? Or is this a total wipe of your T2 and you have to start again?
Ouch! that hurt. No more rearranging the base just for fun. Have you ever tried hanging a picture on the wall for your wife? You know how many time you have to move it before she says yes and you can put your arms down. I can just hear the little lady NO! I don't like it there move it. Oh my aching arms already.
