My comparison of EGS with other games. Here we see that EGS has a weak one. Undersea world Garden Energetics Npc
so, npc in egs are better than npc in fallout 4 ? i know Preston is that a$$hole that down the vote ..but..really ?
To iterate further, the OP is trying to compare Satisfactory (a game about building a factory in 3D (as opposed to the 2D of Factorio)) to Subnautica (an underwater exploration/survival game) to Kerbal Space Program (a 3D rocketry solar system simulator) to Space Engineers (a space sandbox building game with some survival elements) like how does that even make sense. and why am i wasting time replying to this
i fell offended for this stupid comparison...... I had played minecraft for 7 years. Faction and towny mostly. The pvp in minecraft if someting who in empyrion you just wish. The building creativity.....no match eater....for a simple reason. The logic system of empyrion is absolutley ridiculus compared with minecraft redstone. ( and i know just a bit more than enought about redstone trust me) who can be used for building.. And i`m talking about piston, opening walls, secret doors, raising floor, music and sound effect, sliding walls and doors...running water and lava.....light effect, etc. U can do with minecraft almost (or more) the same ting you do in space engineer. Automatic items storage and sorter, automatic factory, automatic farm......the list is so big to give a full understanding. Is a game so deep and complicate....no cap, no limit, no bullXXXt. Just space of imagination and a lot of block to do warewhere you want. How you can compare minecraft to egs? the voice of your list is about ships or space. Empyrion have comparator and repeter? no Empyrion have redstone and hopper? no Empyrion have block observer or Piston? nope So on my list empyrion have no one of the above so is better minecraft.... come on!
Reading this part: and comparing it to the points of these game aspects I get the feeling OP Post has irnoic intention. So here EGS is mainly winning because of the stron variety where it gets points (also some 10 ) While other games have 0 points in several categories. Still this comparison is a foul one as EGS aims to cover more than just one or 2 aspects of games and the points are really flattering. Come on 8 Points for the animals in EGS? As long as there is no plant monster i give it a maximum of 5!
Should check out modded. There's some crazy modpacks out there. For 1.7.10, Gregtech New Horizons is awesome if you enjoy delayed gratification and massive efficiency increases (also a full playthrough is like 700 hours if you just focus on progression and don't build stuff). Per Fabrica Ad Astra is another, based on TerraFirmaCraft.. or you can go to 1.12 and try Enigmatica 2, Skyfactory, Sevtech Ages, etc.
Out of all of those games, the only ones that are even close in comparison for game engine and complexity are 7 Days to Die, and maybe Space Engineers.
No idea what the point is? Bad game? winning score? sarcastic? None of the game are like ESG just like has already been pointed out. If you don't like the game than let it be known, but I never get this thing about trying to convince other people with it?
It's worth noting that this from the same guy that made these: https://empyriononline.com/threads/add-industrial-craft.78112/ https://empyriononline.com/threads/many-new-idea.47367/
Oh that explains a lot. God some of those images. And the Engrish in the second one made my head hurt.
Are you effing shitting me, so you gave a bunch of just tangentially related games arbitrary scores based on your own personal opinions, and this is supposed to tell us something how? Also if ED is 10 for space(and i don't even know what you mean by that, i am assuming it's map size, otherwise this makes even less sense) literally everything else on this list will be happy to even get a 1, seeing as how ED has a real scale galaxy of about 400 billion stars each of which is 1 to 1 scale to the real thing, meaning no other game even comes close to the theoretical game space, this is just one of the most glaring holes in this whole debacle, also how in the Satan's flaming a** did you give Empyrion NPCs higher score then Fallout 4? In what universe do a bunch of aimbot AI and civilian NPCs that can't even friggin move let alone interact with the player in any meaningful way compare to fully voiced NPCs with unique dialog and daily routines? Fallout 4 was not perfect and Eleon is doing the best they can with the resources they have but come on, how is this even a discussion?
I suspect the OP is a troll who enjoys feeding on innocent forumgoers. I believe you fell into their trap, @Samoja
He is Russian I believe, sooo... eventually he is using a translation programs or trying to type it by himself. At least admirable to try to make his point here.
No i don't think so, he does not look like a troll, i think he just has no idea of what he is talking about, probably a kid who thinks he knows a lot but has no idea how things actually work.
He has posted here since A5.3 so he might have a bit of knowledge how the game developed. Voicing his Opinion...others do the same and seem even to know less
He may know how the game developed but he seems not to have a concept of developer resources, or time constraints, his suggestions are completely ludicrous as they would require root restructuring of the whole game and complete change of the game mechanics. which would not only take a heck of a long time but also require everyone to completely relearn the system, and he presents it as if he just asked the devs to change the color of the intro screen. He seems to think game development is just "click here to make a game".
He voices his Opinion - the right of everyone here - and does it in a very respective manner. It is not only him who seems to thinks "swift" change from the current Game Engine to another is a simple task.
