Wanted to post that yesterday but somehow I failed... There seems to be something wrong with Description for the Orbit of this Planet (Jungla-Planet)
Oh I know what happened there. I put in hidden ore sites to use in upcoming PDA missions and they're showing as an asteroid. It'll get fixed in alpha 12 but for now nothing to worry about. You probably won't find them yet.
Looks like this most recent update broke something with the mod. My ongoing survival campaign (M. Hard swamp planet): any vehicle close to the ground when I load the save inside the vehicle it gets mangled in the ground. Got save files if you want them, but I'm going to just start over a a fresh campaign and see if that fixes it.
Did a new start on the Hard ocean planet. Got enough stuff and XP to build an HV in the factory. Built a little concrete platform based from an air pocket under the sea up to above sea level. Spawned the HV on there, loaded up my junk. Jumped in and it borked all over the place! So, not sure what is up. Maybe the introduced/re-introduced the bug in the latest build? Ah well. I've been thinking of playing something else, and I've racked up a lot of hours on EGS this past week: Love your SCENARIO @ravien_ff !! I'll keep checking back periodically, see if anyone else is having problems or maybe try a stock scenario.
Take a look at this bug report . Not sure if it is scenario related, but it definetely is resume save game related.
With 11.5.3 2758, I'm still getting jittery ships that want to fall into the landscape, even after file verification. I guess whenever the game updates it just isn't a good plan to continue with an existing save using this scenario? Checking a save from earlier version of game with vanilla survival scenario: vehicles seem to have more jittery responsiveness but not be falling through landscape. I'm not sure the way forward. I've given up on two or three playlines now, and although I want to play more and love this scenario, but the prospect of starting over yet again is not appealing and it appears necessary to set the game to not update in order to be free and clear.
Not only that, but: looking Steams Properties/Updates pane, I'm not even seeing way to tell it to "Do Not Update." I guess you have to create a backup instance of the game directory and launch it without connecting to Steam? Is that even possible without a 3rd party launcher app? Your work is superlative @ravien_ff and I don't mean to put any onus on you, but it sure is frustrating when the developer updates and it breaks my game(s). ADDIT: my guess is they are tweaking settings on things like RCS and thrusters with these updates and that is somehow borking constructs built in previous versions, though why it would seem to happen with saves from your scenario and not vanilla I don't understand.
At least for this update I'm not seeing any issues. Updated the server, unsubscribed and redownloaded it and moved a copy to the server. I've not left the planet yet or anything but so far it's been okay. Last update, I spawned under the grass in a few spots but not seeing it yet in this one. Hopefully you can get it sorted out and keep on going.
Nope no luck. I guess I'll just play vanilla for a bit and see if I see the 'bug' in it. Maybe restart a new PE survival campaign eventually . . . If anyone is willing to have a look here is a save file that shows the glitch. Just hop into the HV near the player and you should see it happpen: vehicle will wobble around and dip into the landscape. https://filebin.net/3ulgyen2gbfsdyrx
The issue is not with the scenario or your save game. Once they fix it you should be able to play normally.
Cool. Pretty sure I've saved an archive with all of the playlines that I've set aside. Maybe time to spend some hours in Creative updating all my constructs to reflect the state of the game now. Some of those constructs date back to 2016, so lots to fix I bet!
Bummer. Was hopeful it would go well. I am betting you are right on updating. I have a few private bases I need to address. Probably should make them cpu compliant even though I don't play with those restrictions on. I really thought the last update fixed the issue since I had one file that did not validate and was reloaded.
