Today in Epyrion I invented another new sport . Holo shooting. Every time I think my space station should be finished, I think of other nonsense. [media] P.S. If anyone cares, the code for the grid looks like this: Spoiler: code <line-height=141> <size=133><pos=-9><cspace=-28>□□□□□□□□□<line-height=87> <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ <pos=-9>□□□□□□□□□ Although there are 4x4 walls, you should set the LCD projectors to 5x5. Why is that? No idea. Holotechnology is extremely tricky. The circuitry for the targets looks like this: So you have 3 seconds to shoot. However, this can be varied.
This is one of the more inspired things I have seen in the game in a while. There might be a way of creating an arena that we could add the base game? Maybe to a space station?
I am not looking forward to doing that with my 107 releases. Hopefully the antiquated Workshop save will load, but I'm prepared to have to spawn everything from scratch again.
Today, my friends and I again began to survive, scouted the planet, surrounded the abandoned bunker and are preparing to storm the moon! @Robot Shark 107 releases is a hell of a lot ....
I left most of my old builds in the workshop, even the early flying bricks. I also update them when a new release comes out. This was the first CV I made from scratch back in 2016, and I still use it from time to time. The "Highly Portable Operations Depot". AKA, the Hockey Puck Of Doom.
Holy kitty litter Batman, it loaded. The Workshop save I have been using since 9.0.3 loaded. I had 3 COC's the first time I loaded it, but it loads without the errors now. However, I know it will crash eventually. I think I better delete it and go on a spawning spree to make a new one. (but another side of me is morbidly curious as to how long it will load.) *Familiar picture for some folks.
I had to agree with a couple of Aboriginal people, but a place for our bunker was found =) Finally, the factory burped out the bunker ... set up and dug up ... you can go to sleep AAAA so this is how my creative save game will look in a year
Spent the day updating my Class 2 CV from steel to hardened steel and then to combat steel ... Why? you ask ... because I die too much . BUT ... there are 27 steel blocks that are eluding me :-(. Is there any way to easily upgrade an entire ship or to find the elusive blocks? If not, then I recommend they add that as a function to the Repair Bay. It's a lot easier for a computer to run through the array of all blocks associated with an ID and upgrade all blocks given the right materials than it is for me to un-texture everything, scour through every nook-n-cranny, find what few blocks are left, and then individually upgrade them with a multi-tool, pulling my hair out in the process (I don't have much left ... LOL). Suggestions??
I so wish for this. I often tend to run through the extended 1...6 or whatever it is as a just in case . That is where I often find the stragglers are. Otherwise switch on DI and examine them for the block names (I guess you are using this anyway?). I have just been though this in converting a CV into an SV (or at least a scaled down replica)
Finished the build portion of the new polaris ship and I have now started on painting and texturing. Here's a size comparison between the current largest polaris ship in the game: The Skenya-Class Destroyer and the new... superfreighter.
Use the replaceblocks command in the console. First type in "di" <- this will enable the debug info panel. Then aim at your ship with the debug info panel active and loof for its ID <- usaully four digits. Then open the console with the "~" and type in "replaceblocks XXXX hullfulllarge hullarmoredfulllarge." <- without the quotes. For combat it would then be "replaceblocks XXXX hullarmoredfulllarge hullcombatfulllarge." Repeat as necessary for thin blocks(halfblocks) ... ... even saying their name darkens the sky *shudders* Here is the official wiki on the subject: https://empyrion.gamepedia.com/Replace_Blocks_Command *************************************** And yeah @Siege Inc. I see you liking my post. It might indeed be pretty nice in a *certain* space station.
Onward through the snow... My little Ice Station Zebra... Diplomacy and trading with the natives (15mm and shotgun ammo for food and supplies)
A12...A12...well, I believe I have to dust up my BP's too, only 66 of them and some are only raw models. Also one BP is not mine, only converted to what I think works better.
To look like instrumentation shapes that were not replaced by an automatic machine .... faced with this, it is enough to find one, and again register the correct block to replace
By far my funniest built...and one of my oldest, besides of the big Aztec Temple...the Ground Defense Grid, build in a MP Environment and because, as part of the PVE Group, the Server Owner plastered our Base surroundings with hundreds of Zirax Spawns...that was FUN!
Well - I found 'Gargantua'. And this nice 'sun set' over a tropical paradise is actually the black hole setting
