    There are still "big" features to be done in the future, like NPC, Techtree, Research, Skill etc pp ... but in opposite to those, what is on your wishlist for Empyrion in terms of QoL additions or changes?

    Which changes or additions would make your life easier in certain circumstances. This time: think small.

    An ability to add switches to your vehicle toolbar, as well as assigning custom hotkeys to custom switches. Fot example i tend to bind forward thrusters to one of the custom switches and turn them off when in space. To turn them back on i need to first press p, then move my mouse to the position and then turn the thrusters back on. It's quite cumbersome, especially in combat situations. If i could instead just add the switch to the toolbar that would help immesurably.

    More available keybind options. For example ability to assign registry to a quick access key.

    Ability to assign cockpit access exit to a separate key to the standard use key. (No accidental exits)

    Ability to exit a slow moving vessel! (A separate exit keybind would guard against accidents) this is currently a pain in game waiting for a vessel to stop rocking, so you can stand up...

    Option for memory camera:

    On foot first person and in vehicle third person for example, so that you don't have to switch all the time :D

    Ability to turn off the food degradation without turning off the hunger.
    Ability to install HV Medical Station into SV
    Ability to travel between systems using SV warp drive(by just adding 10-15 LY range to it, small enough to use it rarely(usual distance between systema are about 15-20 LY), big enough to travel at least to the nearest systems)

    ability to write code of the logic of the work of objects (without the use of mods)

    Items:
    Flamethrower
    Power Armor (Exoskeleton Armor)

    Let us assign vessel "weapons" manualy to a slot.

    Or make them have a "priority", so they always have the same order - with the detector beeing 1 always -> no accidental friendly fire or destroy resources, or wasting precious resources in early survival.

  11. 1. Dropped backpacks when we die - Please make it so our toolbar is placed in the drop container after the player inventory.
    This will help when we recover our backpack and then put our hotbar items back, we won't be left with empty spots at the top of inventory.

    2. Lockable inventory and hotbar slots.
    Ability to lock an item to a slot so that when we sort inventory those locked items stay in the same place.
    To go along with this, also the ability to have items return to their previous slots when recovering inventory.

    3. 1st and 3rd person view memory.
    Allow it to remember player view separate from vehicle view when getting in and out. Also have it remember each vessel independently from one another the last used view.

    4. Windows that are completely clear from one side at least.
    The game is too beautiful to continue to be forced to look at it through tinted windows. It's impossible to see through them at night for me in 1st person (yes I have them flipped the correct way).

    Edit. I forgot my most important one.
    5. Fix the aiming crosshair. Please, please, please fix this!
    For one it's too small and not bold enough. Most importantly though is fix the color so it's actually visible.
    Right now it turns dull red and then becomes near invisible on the majority of backgrounds. Not to mention the issue of colorblindness in some people.
    Allow the player to set the color and size of it. Preferably allow us to set the color for both when we are aiming at something in range and also when out of range.

    Id like more decorative blocks.
    And to be able to craft the talon style ones. Or at least buy them from traders...

    Since I was just in a thread about it - An easier to see targeting reticule.

    The ability to define exactly where you will appear when you leave a seat or cockpit.

    A method to move from the cockpit you are in, to the cockpit of a docked vessel, and back and forth. Since we cannot walk around on a moving ship, it would be useful if we could shift to a SV and fight when being attacked.

    prefabinfo (without the need to copy-pase bp's in the file strucutre)
    - Workin with own BPs (high prio)
    - Working with sub'd bps (low prio)

    If i had writte than functionaliity, I'd just had to write something in the like of:

    Add a function to the build menu ( the one where you can add mirror plne and stuff ) where you can toggle statistics.

    These should include the directional thrusts as value and most important, those stats should show if the vehicle was too heavy for the thrusters ( factor in max weight of installed boxes and such ).

    So for example, if your Hovercraft were too heavy to lift off with alle boxes filled to maximum c, the appropriate values should turn red.

    This would help tremendously when building new vehicles :)

    On the Galaxy map, systems where you have a base of some kind get an outline of some sorts? Like a blue Halo around the star on the map?
    Adjacent systems that contain a base have the warp line highlighted in the same colour?

    more textures would be nice. Or even the ability to add a texture based on a jpg?

    Like Captain and Krazzykid2006, I'd like my camera modes (1st or 3rd person) to be saved separately for each vehicle (or at least vehicle class) and on-foot. This was also my complaint in the annoying tasks/actions thread a long time back. This is my #1 QoL wish.

    I almost always HV in 3rd person, for instance, but I also always go on-foot in 1st person. So particularly in the early game I end up in this pattern of: enter HV, swap camera, travel until I see something I want to do, exit vehicle to do that thing, swap camera, do whatever it is I left the HV to do, enter HV, swap camera, travel around until I see something I want to do, exit vehicle to do that thing, swap camera, do whatever it is I left the HV to do, enter HV, swap camera.

    Over and over, and in the early game, often in fairly rapid succession. When I decide to just deal with the 3rd person player camera on foot I find myself fighting that camera to interact with things, so I end up not wanting to do that and just deal with swapping the camera constantly.

    If the game could just remember what camera mode we were last using on foot and while piloting each vehicle (the game already has the ability to remember our custom 3rd person camera position for each vehicle) or vehicle class, that'd be ideal.

    Another vote for Vessel Hotbar Manipulation; the abilty to assign weapons/equipment where we need them in the vessel hotbar, and more importantly the ability to assign created signals there(with a limited number of icons to choose from?), and the ability to assign turrets to the hotbar as well for quick manual fire access.
