No Planets in starting system

For the last 2 months, my starting system either has 0 planets and nothing but astroid belts, or it has gas giants with no moons to 6 moons each, but never any real planets

 

What Game Version you are in? Are you on the Experimental Branch or on Public?

 

im on the Public, it also happens to my friends. no matter how many times we uninstall or verify the game files too, it doesn't seem to ever work

 

When the game opens, what is the number showing in the upper left corner ?

May sound silly now, but You DO start a fresh game from time to time or is this an old save which you only letting be updated?

 

i consistently make new games lmao. this has been happening to me and my friends for months. Starting systems just have no planets

This is not a bug but is intended. The starting solar system has no planets except for a chance at a gas giant. You get the ore you need for a CV from the asteroid fields.

Maybe the devs will adjust this though.
