Wanting to check if I am experiencing a bug, or the game as designed. On the surface of the Legacy home world there are a number of Infectors that are stuck in the ground. I can take down their shields, destroy their turrets, and destroy some of the internal modules (shield generator). But nothing else can be scratched. I have seen videos that show portions of these POIs being blasted through using SV weapons. But my question is whether or not these were update universally to be indestructible until cored?

I don't think they know what they want them to do. They had them teleport like crazy, then disabled that, renabled it, added self-destructs. I think the devs should actually play their game. Some of their design choices are ridiculous and make no sense and look a lot like a quick estimate a value that looks right at the time and doesn't get looked at again unless a lot of people complain that it seems to be a bug, or the game is broke.
They need some way to compensate for having AI that's about as dangerous as a particularly determined dishcloth

These are dungeon POIs, not patrol vessels. They are Admin POIs, so they cannot be damaged except for preset blocks and devices due to a heavy reliance on signal logic to open and close doors. The fact that the go-to was to try and blow holes through complex puzzles proves that it's the right choice.

That's a good point. The universal 130mm key removes the nuance to having a clever design.

To be clear: my “go to” was to treat them as the other shielded POI (I even acknowledged that I knew it was a POI in my OP and not a vessel) I had faced off with before, the Drone Base. When I realized that wasn’t working, I did go inside and try to figure out the logic inside. Some I was able to, some I wasn’t. But I did watch a video on YouTube of another player blasting through part of the upper portions of the base, so I was asking if the experience was universal, had been changed recently, or if I was missing something.

The “maybe this is a glitch” had a lot to do with the fact that upon first entering the main chamber of the POI it had a dirt ground with trees. Then while jumping about the floor vanished, as if the ground had been clipping through. But when I climbed back up the vegetation was still there but the “ground” was gone.
