Hi You fixed Sanctuary base now so it is a Polaris station, but when I talk to the guard he gives me an appointment and tells me to use the lift., but the lift doesn't work now because it says its another faction lift.
Did you start a new game? Not sure if this is an artifact of the changes made, but with the latest version I had no problem there.
Yes I started a new game yesterday after the patch, Sanctuary is now a Polaris station but the lift doors wont open even when I have an appointment as they say they belong to another faction. Guess the quest isnt updating correctly .
Works pretty fine AND in the intended way for me. I checked the Elevators and they were other Faction. Than I talked to the Guard, and as I stepped over to the Elevator the Doors opened.

Just a thought: did you play MP or Coop? I am afraid i am not able to reproduce the issue after a dozen attempts... :/
Hi Hummel No it was just a normal survival game I used the seed Spanj is using in his current playthrough. 242729 starting on Astil
Oh if you want a saved game just before it happens I have one, or it might be after i tried talking to the guard the 1st time, anyway the lift isnt workimg in it.
Just to say I used gm to get up the lift and continue my quest line, seems the guards didn't like this much upstairs and started shooting at me.
I see the issue with your savegame .. but starting a new game does not reproduce that issue for me. Maybe wait until EXP2 is out mid/end of this week and give it another try!
Just a thought: HOW did you go through that dialogue with the guard? Did you quickly click-through the answers or did you read and proceed slowly?
Thx! I tried a few things but cannot reproduce the issue. Maybe it is some side effect we fixed with something else while working on the current EXP release. May I ask you to wait until the next EXP is released and re-try this mission with a fresh savegame?
So I started a brand new game on ver 1.5 3373 random starting seed and have gone through all the quests again to Sanctuary talking to the guard. I saved the game just in case before I spoke to him and I allowed the conversation to proceed at normal speed, result the quest did not update and I can still not access the lift. I have also done a check on my steam files to make sure they were all ok, it did come back with 2 files to be re-downloaded so I allowed it to do this and tried again, but with the same result the quest does not update and still says get an appointment. Not sure where to go now
So 3rd time lucky and I finally have a game where the lift works. It must have something to do with those 2 files that were re-downloaded from a steam verify. None of my old saves has a working lift so going to delete all those and roll with this new one
